Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.  為了尋找在派對中失蹤的大學生，兩名攜帶錄像設備的私家偵探闖入了一幢空房子，并在其中發現數卷神秘錄影帶：1）男人米德爾頓植入了能記錄影像和聲音的義眼，他在家中卻看到恐怖的影像；2）在國家公園叢林里騎車的麥克碰到一個滿身傷痕、嘔吐黑水的女人，接下來一群恐怖喪尸慢慢向他靠近。被喪尸咬了后，男子的身體漸漸發生變化；3）某劇組造訪一個神秘教派，天堂般美好的表象下，恐怖氣息蔓延，他們偏偏趕上魔王降臨人間；4）父母不在的湖邊住宅，孩子們放肆玩耍。夜深人靜之際，強烈的光芒突然閃過，神秘生物進入屋內，意外頻現。詭異的錄影帶，將觀看者引向黑暗深處……

　　該片講述四位朋友共同前往一座島嶼度假，期間他們接觸一種名為“Urge”的藥物，而當四人吸食之后，他們將逐漸走向欲望的深淵。
