 影片改編自Samuel D. Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　1945年,盟軍突入德國(guó),德國(guó)瘋狂科學(xué)家李然博士研究的項(xiàng)目----科學(xué)怪人法蘭克的心臟被潛艇秘密轉(zhuǎn)移到了其同盟國(guó)日本的廣島陸軍醫(yī)院,供起研究出不死的士兵,然而核子爆炸使一切化為灰勁.十五年后,科學(xué)家在廣島研究核子放射能對(duì)人類還有環(huán)境的研究中,意外的發(fā)先了一個(gè)孩子,在檢測(cè) 中發(fā)現(xiàn)其雖然受過核子放射能的照射,但一點(diǎn)都沒有被污染,經(jīng)過調(diào)查發(fā)現(xiàn)原來這個(gè)孩子在核子爆炸后迷一樣的出現(xiàn)在廣島的英樹醫(yī)院(原廣島陸軍醫(yī)院),而且他還在不停的變大,所以科學(xué)家們推測(cè)當(dāng)年的法蘭克的心臟在受到了放射能的影響后,發(fā)生了異變,他們稱其為廣島怪人法蘭克.然而這時(shí)的法蘭克已經(jīng)變大到人們不可控制的地步,并且逃出了醫(yī)院,另一方面,在秋田油田,出現(xiàn)了地底怪獸,最后兩只巨大的生物在平原相遇,并進(jìn)行了激烈的戰(zhàn)斗,最后法蘭克用火戰(zhàn)勝了地底怪獸,然而與此同時(shí)一只大章魚在悄悄的接近他.........
