上海的退休工程師老汪與兒子有一個約定，每周六小汪會回父母家一次，順便吃碗老汪拿手的菜肉餛飩。為了讓兒子早點結婚生子，老汪在愛人素娟的啟發下，決定自己去公園相親角為兒子物色一名婚戀對象。在相親角，老汪結識了老金、美琴、阿芳等人，自己也無意中卷入了一場始料未及的情感漩渦之中。

　　香港警察朱福龍（甄子丹 飾）因一次工作失誤慘被降級，萬般無奈之際又遭未婚妻可兒（周勵淇 飾）悔婚，事業愛情的雙重打擊令他一蹶不振，暴飲暴食六個月后體重猛增到220磅！上司黃警官不忍其繼續墮落，委派朱福龍前往日本押送一名犯人，并承諾只要完成任務就可以為他恢復職位。可惜來到日本，倒霉的事件便接連在他身上發生，不僅財物盡失，連犯人也在押送途中逃脫了。幸好得到前香港警察瀟灑哥（王晶 飾）的幫助才得以暫時解困，為了完成任務找回犯人，朱福龍與瀟灑哥共同行動，不料在查找真相的過程中發現了日本黑幫的驚天陰謀......
