夜勤事件

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.

　　史蒂芬（瑞恩·菲利普）與莎倫（蕾切爾·李費(fèi)佛）來到波多黎各，打算接走通過中介收養(yǎng)的海地小女孩妮娜。他們?cè)诼灭^結(jié)識(shí)了穿著防風(fēng)衣，頭發(fā)亂糟糟的本杰明（庫薩克）。六萬元的費(fèi)用付出手，妮娜卻突然失蹤，領(lǐng)養(yǎng)中介的工作人員不翼而飛，網(wǎng)站也無法打開……　　當(dāng)?shù)鼐旄嬖V他們，兩人是中了釣魚詐騙的圈套，以收養(yǎng)孩子為誘餌，拿到收養(yǎng)費(fèi)后就把孩子帶走，再去尋找下一個(gè)受害人。然而夫婦倆的厄運(yùn)還沒完，本杰明似乎是看準(zhǔn)了兩人是條大魚，把他們監(jiān)禁起來，要榨光他們所有的積蓄。
